Discourse Assignment
After the class Wahyu met Amy in the parking area at 2:00 o’clock. Wahyu asked Amy about his linguistics theory book which is borrowed by Amy. In this moment, Wahyu looked angry because Amy forgot and didn’t bring his linguistics theory book which Amy borrowed yesterday. But, Wahyu didn’t show his feel anger to Amy, just little words that showed if he was angry with Amy.
( situation : two friends are discussing about Wahyu’s book which is borrowed by Amy last time ).
1.            Wahyu : // Hey, where is MY BOOK ?
2.            Amy    : // YOUR BOOK ?
3.            Wahyu : // Yes, your borrow MY BOOK yesterday ! ((smiling ))
4.            Amy : // Haaaa? I, I, I’m forget if I borrow your book, I , I don’t know where is your BOOK ?
5.            Wahyu : // My English book, My Ling Theo book, (( sound of smacking the tongue )) you Borrow ME :: yesterday :: at nine o’clock !
6.        Amy     : // Haaaa? Ling Theo BOOK ?
7.            Wahyu  : // Yes, ::
8.            Amy    : // Ouch, ::  ooh I’m , I’m sorry, but I, I  forget if I borrow your book and now I don’t bring  my (eh) I don’t bring your book.
9.            Wahyu  : //  (( sound of smacking the tongue )) Oh, :: poor you are !
10.        Amy      :// Oh, I’m so sorry Wahyu ::
11.        Wahyu   : // And now why ::: ?

Analysis
a.                   A.        From the conversation above, Amy be panic because Wahyu ask to her, to return his book. Wahyu makes an stressing tone to pressure his statement for Amy My English book, My Ling Theo book, (( sound of smacking the tongue )) you Borrow ME :: yesterday :: at nine o’clock !(as in 5) and it’s more pressure with Wahyu’s statement again “  Oh, poor you are “ (as in 9 ), which implies that Wahyu is very angry to Amy , because she forget to bring his book. Amy looks so on edge because Wahyu is always pressure her, it looks when Amy said “Ouch, ::  ooh I’m , I’m sorry, but I, I  forget if I borrow your book and now I don’t bring  my (eh) I don’t bring your book.” (as in 8 ) it implies that Amy become anxiety with Wahyu’s statement.
Wahyu becomes angry until the last of conversation, he dislike Amy’s attitude which always forget to bring his book “How to DO my exercise , how to do my assignment ?” (as in 13). It means that Wahyu is really needs the book which Amy borrows and Amy forget to bring it. Amy also try to makes Wahyu sure that Amy will return his book “Hehemm, I’m sorry Wahyu, I promise I will bring it for you.” (As in 14).
From the conversation, its can makes a little assumption of the speaker characters. The first speaker ( Wahyu ), he is a severe man and also he is didn’t discrete with the other who disturb his activity, for example Amy borrow his book and forget bring the book he only give a little snarl to Amy. The second speaker ( Amy ), she is a forgetful person because she worry and be afraid when Wahyu snarl her.
B.         The using of Overlap (//) in this conversations means that the starting of the speaker said. For example, the using of overlap in the sentence (Wahyu :  // Hey, where is MY BOOK ? ),(As in 1) it’s mean that the speaker start to talk about the topic. Overlap also have an purpose to mark of the start of speak which the speaker compose .
 Using of uppercase ( Capital Word ) in this conversation indicate the more pressure in the word. In other word, it’s signify that the speaker wants to formulate the idiom which represent the speaker feel to other speaker. For example, “Amy     : // Haaaa? Ling Theo BOOK ?” (as in 6) . The uppercase here mean that Amy confused and panickly about Wahyu’s book. 
            In this conversation, the using of lenghtening ( :: / ::: ) repeatedly by the speaker. The function of lenghtening ( :: / ::: ) is to define the long of sound, it’s mean that the sound of the speaker sometimes have a extended in conversation. For example, the using lenghtening   ( :: / ::: ), “ Wahyu   : // And now why ::: ? “ (as in 11) . The lenghtening here that illustrate the long of sound or in other word the lenghtening use to indicate the knock of the sound from the speaker.
            There are any three Ringbell (( )) which use in this conversation. The function of Ringbell (( )) in this conversation is to indicate the non verbal action which consist in the conversation. The Ringbell (( )) in this conversation such as (( smiling )), “(( sound of smacking the tongue ))” (as in 5 ) . It’s mean that the other idiom or non verbal expression both of the speaker sound or arround of the conversation usually come into sight in the conversation.

Writing Summary by Fitri Nurwiyanti
1. An article in Campus magazine entitled “Publics Participation For Education” by Miftakhul Khoiri presents the first school Taman Siswa built by Ki Hajar Dewantara.
2. Education paradigm is growing in Indonesia to fulfill the sprit of education these days.
3. Citizens should get competent education.
4. Education is responsibility by government and the side of private sector individual and group.
5. Because of limited cost, the government opens the opportunity for public to participate and develop business education such as; building opening schools, courses, or skill education with facilities more complete and better than government schools.
6. Supported by complete and good facilities make this school rather expensive because it
7. Indonesia has pesantren as education system (Islamic boarding house models).
8. It is classified into two models: First Traditional, it does not collect the payment from the students and students can stay and study freely.
9. They study about Islamic science for the sake of individual and public.
10. The traditional pesantren still be one choice by our society under class social.
11. Second, Modern pesantren collects the payment of the students because it gives more ability and knowledge for students.
